Run for Ukraine is the annual memorial run of VATAHA in The Hague, organised together with HAAG Atletiek. The course runs through the dunes of The Hague and was laid out by the athletics club. Participants choose between 2, 5 and 10 kilometres, or come along as supporters at the roadside. What sets the event apart is the combination of sport and art: installations around the race commemorate Ukraine's losses, and the medals are designed by Ukrainian artists and carry poems. The run brings Ukrainian, Dutch and international participants together and now draws well over a thousand runners.
