Wateringse Veld Loopfestijn

About the race

Wateringse Veld Loopfestijn is a neighbourhood running and walking event in the Escamp district of The Hague. The start and finish area is in Vlietpark on the Santiagosingel, where the Loopfestijn is paired with the Zomerfestijn. The 15th edition offers a programme for almost every level: a 500 metre children's run, 2.5 km run, 5 km run, 5 km walk and 10 km run. The course combines the Wateringse Veld residential district with the greener surroundings nearby, supported by water stations, first aid on and around the route and a medal for participants. With that blend of sport, neighbourhood festival and accessible distances, the event works just as well for families and Escamp schools as for runners looking for a well-organised 5 or 10 kilometre effort.
