Run for KiKa Almere is the charity entry for the running day at the event grounds on the Rio de Janeiroplein in Almere-Buiten: the same course and the same distances as De 30 van Almere, with fundraising for childhood cancer research added. You choose between 5, 10, 15 or 30 kilometres, and the children's run of 1 or 2 kilometres is free. There is no minimum sponsorship amount, so taking part is possible without pressure to raise funds. The course combines the neighbourhood and centre of Almere-Buiten with the open side towards the Oostvaardersplassen, which makes the longer distances noticeably quieter the further you get.
