Run Bike Run Witmarsum is a small-scale Frisian duathlon in the village centre of Witmarsum. The race starts and finishes on Pingjumerstraat and combines a 5 km run, a 20 km bike leg and a 2.5 km run, forming the 27.5 km Achtste RunBikeRun. Participants can race solo or as a team; the 2026 edition also counts towards the Fryslân Cup Duathlon & Triathlon. With short distances, a clear setup and local village organisation, it is an accessible but genuine race for athletes who enjoy combining running and cycling.
