About the race

Routen, the route and inspiration platform of Toerisme Oost-Vlaanderen, organises the second Routen Trail & Walk. This time the start is not in the Flemish Ardennes but at HOC De Fransman in Haaltert, on the edge of the Den Dotter nature reserve. You choose between 10.7, 15 and 26 km, running or walking, each with a substantial unpaved portion: from 5.7 km on the shortest to 16 km on the longest route. The elevation gain stays limited, from 36 to 190 metres. The course is signposted, with regional produce along the way and at the finish. Places are limited, so register in good time.
