Rooi Runs

About the race

Rooi Runs is the Father's Day race of Sint-Oedenrode, organised by SV Fortuna '67, starting and finishing on De Markt by the bandstand. The race moved from a course outside the village to the historic centre, and that shapes its character: the loop is short enough that you pass the same terraces and the same crowd several times. On the half marathon you cover that centre loop twice over. The programme runs from the short Rodi Runs for children through 5 and 10 kilometres to the half marathon, which you can also tackle as a relay of four. Anyone who would rather not run takes the walking route of just over eleven kilometres through the countryside around the village.
