De Maasdijk Winterrun

About the race

A winter event along the Maas in the municipality of Oss, held every year on the last Sunday before Christmas. New in 2026 is the winter marathon: a flat, point-to-point race on the classic Maasdijk course, from Ravenstein to the finish in Gewande, limited to 250 runners. Alongside it, the trail through the floodplains between Megen and Gewande remains, over roughly 12, 20 or 25 kilometres, mostly unpaved and on singletracks; all trail distances finish at Het Wild. Clay and mud make it tough going. The final stage can also be walked.
