About the race

The Veldsink Advies Rijsserbergloop is AV Rijssen's classic Friday-evening race, with more than thirty years of history on the local running calendar. The course runs through the wooded Rijsserberg area, is clearly hilly and still about 95 percent paved. The 5 km covers two laps and the 10 km three laps; the programme also includes a bambino run, kids runs and the Reginox business run. The organisers put real weight on race quality, with aid on course, good facilities including changing rooms and showers, chip timing, volunteers along the route, live music and a prize purse. That makes the Rijsserbergloop attractive for fast runners looking for a proper challenge, while still feeling welcoming for recreational runners who want an atmospheric evening race in the woods of Rijssen.
