The 25th Bommelse Promenadeloop is a charity run in Zaltbommel, starting and finishing at De Verdraagzaamheid on the Waalkade. On Saturday 11 April 2026, performance runners, relay teams, schoolchildren and walkers come together for Stichting Roparun, giving the day a broader feel than a standard road race. The main run starts at 14:30 and offers 2.5, 5, 7.5 and 10 km; at the same time there is a relay over four laps of 2.5 km. School races for different age groups follow later. Its local character sits exactly in that mix: sport, familiar faces and a good cause shaping the whole day.
