The Pallieterjogging is a city-centre run on the Grote Markt in Lier, organised with Sportdienst Lier and AV Lyra-Lierse. The 40th edition takes place on Sunday 31 May 2026 and keeps the programme deliberately clear: children's runs of 500 and 1,000 metres, followed by 10 kilometres and 5 kilometres for adults and sporty young participants. Start and finish are in the historic centre, with a traffic-free race setting, changing rooms and showers at sporthal Stadspark and race-number collection on and around race day. Every participant receives a souvenir medal. That keeps the Pallieterjogging exactly what its name promises: an accessible local jogging event with enough organization to run smoothly and enough Lier atmosphere to linger after the finish.
