The Gabriëlloop is the school and neighbourhood run of the Sint-Gabriëlcollege in Boechout, on and around the campus on the Lange Kroonstraat. The format has no fixed distance: every class group tries to gather as many complete laps as it can in exactly one hour, half an hour for the primary school. The class that covers the most relative to its size wins. Pupils recruit family, friends and supporters for this, because every lap counts just as much, fast or slow. There is a walking course alongside the running one, and you may also take part without tying your laps to a class. Doors open at quarter past five; bibs are collected in the function hall.
