OVM Haarlo-op

About the race

The OVM Haarlo-op is SP Haarlo's evening race, starting and finishing at Sportpark De Berkel on the Overbekkingsweg. There are three distances — 4, 8 and 14.3 kilometres — and all three go off together at seven. You notice that in the first kilometre, where four-kilometre runners and fourteen-kilometre runners are mixed in together. After that the routes head into the country around Haarlo over cycle paths, sandy tracks and forest paths, with stretches along the Berkel; more variety, then, than an ordinary street race. Entry is cheap and club members pay less still.
