The OVM DEO loop in Borculo is a proper cross-country race over largely unpaved ground. From sportpark Dijkhoek the routes wind along forest tracks, past heathland and through the newly created nature area in the Dijkhoek. The programme covers 5.2, 9.1 and 13.6 kilometres, a power walk over 9.1 kilometres and the WOEST Trail Run over 24, 32 and 40 kilometres. The two longest trails are drop-off races: participants are bussed to their starting point in the morning and then navigate by GPX, as those routes carry no markings. There is also a 25-kilometre canitrail for runners with a dog. Trail places are limited, and changing rooms and showers are available at the sports park.
