The Oetingse Duoloop is the annual race of Jogging Club Oetingen, with the Elkerlyc hall on the Kerkplein as the base for registration, prize-giving and tombola. The afternoon opens at two o'clock with the children's races over 250, 500 and 1000 metres. The two main distances then set off: 6 kilometres at half past two and 12 kilometres a quarter of an hour later. The duo character lies in the format, since participants run the same distance in pairs and go for a single combined result. A nice touch: besides the podium prizes per category there are separate prizes for the fastest man and woman after one kilometre, so there is something to race for from the gun.
