The Obvion Run starts in the middle of Heerlen city centre and offers walking as well as running. Runners have 5 kilometres, 10 kilometres and the half marathon; walkers choose between routes of 10 and 20 kilometres. For children of four to twelve there is a separate Kids Run. Entry includes timing, an action photo, a cloakroom, showers and a drink with a snack at the finish, which makes it practical for anyone travelling from far. That the start and finish are at the same central point keeps the event compact. It is organised by Stichting Grand Ballon.
