Obstaclerun Amersfoort

About the race

Obstaclerun Amersfoort is run on the Dekzandrug in Park Schothorst, a green area on the edge of the city where the ridge's elevation is worked into the course. There are two routes: one of 2.1 kilometres and one of 3.6 kilometres, both strewn with obstacles in which climbing, scrambling and mud take the lead. The longer route carries the most eye-catching obstacle, the Base Jump. The event is explicitly aimed at anyone who wants to give it a go, from children to seasoned obstacle runners, rather than at a time. The park stays open to the public during the run, with spectators watching from the side at the toughest obstacles.
