NightRun Rijssen

About the race

NightRun Rijssen is an evening run through the centre of Rijssen, held during late-night shopping. The special part is the route: it does not just follow the streets but cuts straight through shops, buildings and businesses in and around the centre, with lighting setting the mood. Start and finish are on the square 't Schild. The evening opens with a one-kilometre kids' run, followed by a run for participants with a disability and the walkers over 5 kilometres; the runners go last over 5 and 10 kilometres, released in groups by a rolling start so the course stays calm and spread out. There is no timing: the experience counts for more here than performance.
