The Night Run Wageningen starts and finishes on the Markt, with the surrounding cafés carrying the evening along. The programme opens with kids runs of 500 and 1000 metres, after which the 5 and the 10 kilometres follow. Those longer distances head through the centre and up the Wageningse Berg, with the Holleweg as a climb in the dark under atmospheric lighting — that is where this race gets its character, and why a time here cannot be compared with a flat ten. Registration closes at midday two days beforehand, after which only limited late entry remains. Pallas organises the evening together with local clubs and the municipality.
