This edition has already happenedSee upcoming races nearbyThe MudRun of Oosterzee belongs to EasterSimmer, the village festival of this Frisian village, and that sets the tone: over four hundred participants working their way around a nine kilometre lap with nearly fifty obstacles, with forest, water and above all mud in between. It is not a race where you come to set a time but a course you get through, which explains why there are runs for children and recreational entrants alongside the main distance. The course is also open to athletes with a disability starting together with a companion. Anyone wanting to stay clean comes to watch rather than to enter.
