Mooi Ruinen Run

About the race

In 2026 Loopgroep Ruinen organises the Mooi Ruinen Run for the 25th time in the Drenthe village green town of Ruinen. The course runs across the village green and past the town's finest spots, along the De Zaandplatte windmill, through the woods and along the edge of the Dwingelderveld. Adults choose 5 or 10 kilometres and start at 2 pm; earlier in the afternoon the youth races over 800 and 1600 metres take place, grouped by age. Registration is via inschrijven.nl, and on the day itself up to half an hour before the start at a higher fee.
