Midzomernachtcross is AV Startbaan’s summer evening run through the Amsterdamse Bos in Amstelveen. On Friday 19 June 2026, the 44th edition starts and finishes at Klein Kinderbad, with choices of 1 English mile for young and beginning runners, 5 km, 10 km, 10 English miles and a 10 km company and team race. The course is flat, quick and largely paved, following cycle paths and footpaths through the woods with clear markings and water stations along the way. That makes the race friendly and accessible, while still giving faster runners a good chance to chase a sharp time.
