The Midsummer Oudsberg Trail of AVT Oudsbergen revolves around the Oudsberg, the highest land dune in Flanders, and uses a completely traffic-free loop through dune and woodland. The afternoon opens with the free Karamellenloop for the youngest, followed by the 2-kilometre kidsrun. The main distances go off in reverse order: the 25 kilometres first, then the 12, then the 6. Watch the aid stations, because they differ sharply: three on the 25, one on the 12 and none at all on the 6 — on that one you depend on what you carry yourself and on the water and fruit at the finish.
