The Juvah Stratenloop Memorial Fons Brydenbach is the annual street race of Rijkevorsel, in the Antwerp Kempen. The running festival begins in the late afternoon with a karamellenloop and a kids' jogging race, both free, and then moves on to the competitive distances of 5 and 10 kilometres on a course through the village streets. Music accompanies the evening, which runs on late, making the event as much a village party as a race. It is organised by Rijkevorsel-Leeft vzw, which also puts cycling races on the local calendar. The race carries the name of Fons Brydenbach (1954-2009), European indoor champion over 400 metres and for decades the holder of the Belgian record at that distance.
