The Eindhoven Marathon spans two days. Saturday holds the Urban Walk over 10 and 15 kilometres, two kids runs of 1.5 and 2.5 kilometres and the City Run over 5 kilometres. Sunday brings the competitive distances: a quarter marathon of 10.55 kilometres, the half marathon and the marathon itself, which doubles as the Belgian championship. The course is flat and wide and takes in most of the city, finishing on the Vestdijk in the middle of the centre. Spectators and music line almost the whole circuit. The event is organised by Golazo Athletics.
