Maasduinen Trail

About the race

The Maasduinen Trail sets off at the DEV-Arcen sports club and explores the country between the Maas and the German border. There are three distances — 10, 21 and 30 kilometres — each heading its own way. Northward the route enters Nationaal Park De Maasduinen, with wide sand paths and quiet forests; southward it crosses rolling heath with open expanses and long views. Small lakes and several aid stations lie along the way. The event is cup-free: no cups are handed out at the stations, so you need your own cup or soft flask. Trail Events deliberately keeps the set-up plain, with the course and the terrain as the main thing.
