Maarkedal Trail

About the race

The Maarkedal Trail starts and finishes at De Wante in Schorisse, in the middle of the Flemish Ardennes. There are four routes of 6.3, 10, 14.2 and 23.4 kilometres, with 108, 136, 227 and 428 metres of climbing respectively — the climbing therefore rises faster than the distance, and the longest route is the hardest in proportion. Walkers are as welcome as runners and use the same routes. Every course has refreshment points, and registration includes a goodie bag. Before and after the effort there is somewhere to sit at the start and finish area. The event is organised by Runners Maarkedal vzw.
