Christmas Nightrun Geraardsbergen

About the race

The Christmas Nightrun of Geraardsbergen is a seven-kilometre evening run through the centre, starting and finishing on the Grote Markt. The same route is open to runners and walkers, and there is no strict gun but a latest departure at ten past seven — so you leave when you are ready. The course is dressed with lights, music and entertainment, which gives the set-up away: this is a winter evening in town rather than a race. Every participant receives a sports scarf. Entering in advance costs considerably less than signing up on the night, and there is a separate rate for children up to twelve.
