LoveLife Run Friesland is the first Frisian edition of Stichting Fight cancer's LoveLife Run. On Sunday 14 June 2026, participants gather in Drachten for a 5 km that is not about the fastest time, but about moving together, pushing personal limits and raising money for cancer research. Former and current cancer patients run alongside loved ones, care professionals, friends and supporters; children also get their own short run. The local partnership with Frisian healthcare organisations gives the event extra meaning. With its start and finish on Sportlaan near the baseball and softball club, it is clearly rooted in Drachten, but the tone remains personal: every step stands for resilience, connection and hope.
