This edition has already happenedSee upcoming races nearbyThe LoveLife Run Almere is a sponsored run of the Fight cancer foundation, starting and finishing at the Yanmar Stadium. You choose between 1 and 5 kilometres and may cover either running or walking — a choice that matters here, because much of the field consists of people living with or beyond cancer, alongside their families and their healthcare workers. There is no entry fee: you sign up and find sponsors, and the average participant raises around 450 euros for cancer research that way. Anyone taking part as a patient gets coaching from experienced running trainers to cover the distance at their own pace. Everyone is welcome, including those with no history of illness.
