The event is about moving together for cancer research: former and current cancer patients run towards the same finish with loved ones, care providers, teams and other participants. For patients, an optional twelve-week training programme makes the run a personal journey as well as an event day. The organizer makes clear that this is not an official race with timing, but a day built around taking part, finishing together and raising funds. That gives Almere an accessible LoveLife Run with a clear stadium base and a strong social purpose.
