The Lenteloop is Atletiekclub Deinze's evening race in the provincial estate De Brielmeersen, starting at the athletics track on the Stadionlaan. At seven the kids runs begin: 800 metres for seven to ten-year-olds, a quarter of an hour later 1600 metres for the older children. At half past seven the main run sets off, and you decide for yourself whether to do one, two or three laps — around 4.8, 9.1 or 13.7 kilometres. The course alternates paved and unpaved paths through the estate. Every participant takes home a prize in kind, and afterwards there is spaghetti or a cheese platter, which gives the evening more the character of a club party than of a race.
