Leenderbos Ultra

About the race

The Leenderbos Ultra is a fifty-kilometre nature ultra starting and finishing at the Fletcher Hotel Jagershorst in Leende. There is one distance and one task: through the Leenderbossen to the heath of Soerendonk and on to the Belgian border at the Achelse Kluis. The course alternates singletrack, wide sandy trails, open heath and quiet forest paths. You navigate by GPX yourself, and that file only arrives on the Thursday beforehand — over fifty self-navigated kilometres that is not a detail. Three aid stations stand along the route and one more at the finish. The race is the fourth ultra of the Dutch Ultra Series.
