Le Trail des 3 Boucles is a trail day in Liège, organized from within the sporting environment of Triardent. The programme combines the main Trail 3 Boucles event with three children's runs of 400, 800 and 1,200 metres. That keeps the event compact and easy to understand, while still making it broader than a race only for experienced trail runners. The city location and short youth distances make the day accessible for families and supporters, while the trail event appeals to runners who prefer to move beyond a classic road race.
