Trail Liege Metropole

About the race

The Trail Liège Métropole is the trail half of the running weekend around Liège and consists of two point-to-point routes that both finish in the Parc de la Boverie. The short one covers 24.59 kilometres with 762 metres of climbing and leaves from the Parc du Mary in Esneux; the long one runs 45.91 kilometres with 1297 metres and starts at Sprimont. Both head through the wooded Ourthe valley, past the Roche aux Faucons and through the forests of Sart-Tilman, only dropping into the city at the very end. You reach the start by regular train or shuttle bus, which takes the logistical fuss out of a point-to-point. On the course you run largely in semi-autonomy.
