Beer Lovers' Marathon

About the race

Beer Lovers' Marathon is a full city marathon in Liège with a distinctly festive character. The 42.195 km start and finish at the Palais des Congrès and combine a timed road race with the feel of a Belgian beer and food route. Along the way, aid stations offer water, food and beer tastings, while music, costumes and the afterparty give the event its recognisable identity. The marathon remains serious enough for runners who want to cover the full distance, but it feels less rigid and formal than a classic city marathon.
