The Calestrail sets off from the free school of Hotton-Melreux, on the Ourthe in the province of Luxembourg. There are four trails with a rising elevation profile: the Baby Calestrail of 9 kilometres with 260 metres of climbing, the Moyen of 18 kilometres with 500 metres, the Grand of 26 kilometres with 900 metres and a marathon of 42 kilometres with 1200 metres. The longest distances start first in the early morning, the shortest last. Each distance is capped at two hundred and fifty participants and every finisher receives a medal. When entering you can reserve a cap and a hamburger, which fits the village character of the day.
