Koningsloop Krimpen aan den IJssel

About the race

Koningsloop Krimpen aan den IJssel is AV MTK’s annual orange-themed run around Sporthal De Boog on Krimpenerbosweg. On Friday evening 24 April 2026 the programme is built for families, with youth runs over 1 and 2 kilometres and performance runs over 4 and 8 kilometres. The children race first, followed by the 4 and 8 kilometre starts at 19:30. With the orange dress code, supporters at the finish area and the bar at De Boog, the event keeps a clearly local festive character.
