The Kermisjogging of Erwetegem is the village race of Erwetegem, part of the municipality of Zottegem, and coincides with the local funfair. The race is carried by the village's own jogging club, which gives the whole thing a markedly local character. Three distances are on offer, from a short loop to a longer round of just under fifteen kilometres, so recreational and seasoned runners alike can take part. The course follows the roads and farm tracks in the rolling landscape around Zottegem. Because the race falls in the funfair weekend, it flows seamlessly into the festivities in the village centre.
