The Kapittelloop in Brasschaat has been going for more than thirty-five years and has grown into one of the well-attended autumn races in the province of Antwerp. Three distances are on offer for adults: 4 kilometres, 8 kilometres and ten miles, plus a relay format in which teams of four runners share the longest distance between them. For children there is a separate kids run. The race draws more than seven hundred and fifty participants each year, spread across the individual distances, dozens of relay teams and a sizeable group of children. One euro from every entry goes to De Wapper, an organisation providing sport for people with disabilities. AC Break organises the race.
