The Jogging Sportes Ouvertes is the village race of Sport et Délassement in Chapelle-lez-Herlaimont, starting on the Esplanade des Droits de l'Enfant. There are two distances: 5.7 and 11.4 kilometres, both on the road and both gently rolling — the long loop carries some 64 metres of climbing, the short one half that. The race counts towards the Challenge Hainaut, the Hainaut regularity series, which means that alongside recreational runners there are competitors collecting points. The youth have a start of their own, later in the morning. Changing rooms, showers and a bag drop are available on site.
