Jeezekesloop is the local running day in Wezemaal, starting and finishing on Wezemaalplein. On Sunday 14 June 2026 the programme opens with kids' runs of 300, 600 and 900 metres, followed by a 3 km run through the quiet streets of Wezemaal-dorp and the main 10 km race. That 10 km starts with two local laps before climbing the Wijngaardberg, passing the H. Hartbeeld and continuing over forest paths, with an aid station around kilometre 7. The result is a race that feels village-based and family-friendly, but still has a demanding sporting edge. With race-day registration, showers and a terrace open throughout the afternoon, it is also an easy event for supporters and families to settle into.
