Hoptrail Asse

About the race

The Hoptrail is a trail in Asse that Maspoe organises together with the town of Asse; the first edition in 2026 drew 534 participants. Start and finish are at the municipal sports hall on Potaarde. You choose between 12, 20 and 27 kilometres, with well over three-quarters unpaved paths through the countryside around Asse. In 2026 the 27 km included around 380 metres of elevation gain, the 20 km almost 300 and the 12 km just over 170. It's a cup-free trail: bring your own cup for the aid stations. The organiser has already announced the 2027 date, with the full programme still to follow.
