Duatlon Reusel is a Run-ATB-Run in the woods around Reusel, organised by AVR '69 from Sportpark D'n Hoek. The competition distance covers 14 kilometres of running, 60 kilometres of mountain biking and another 7 kilometres of running, and is open from the age of eighteen; recreational entrants get their own shorter version of 7, 30 and 3.5 kilometres from the age of sixteen. Both can be done individually or as a duo, with one partner running and the other cycling. The course is entirely off-road, so a mountain bike is the only permitted machine. Afterwards there are plenty of showers and a canteen to talk things over, even in bad weather. Over the years the race has grown into one of the best-known off-road duathlons in the Netherlands.
