Herfelingen Loopt

About the race

Herfelingen Loopt is the village jog of Herfelingen, part of the municipality of Pajottegem in the rolling Pajottenland. The start and finish are at the village church, and the race coincides with the annual fair, so the square is already busy before the first runner sets off. Runners choose between 5 and 10 kilometres, and anyone who prefers to walk can follow a nine-kilometre route through the surrounding fields. The start falls in the afternoon. A local committee organises the event and deliberately keeps the threshold low: entry costs two euros, whether you register in advance or simply turn up on the day.
