The Halve van Veldhoven has its event grounds in the park on the Europalaan, with the start on the Cees Sleegerspad and the finish on the Rapportstraat. There are four events: a Mini Run for the youngest, 5 and 10 kilometres, and the half marathon. The two longest distances are officially measured and run on paved roads through Veldhoven and the surrounding villages of Veldhoven-Dorp, Knegsel, Steensel and Zandoerle. The event supports the regional Ronald McDonald House; participants can make a voluntary contribution when they enter. Anyone also running the Eindhoven marathon in the same year receives a separate running shirt for it.
