Halve van het Gooi

About the race

The Halve van het Gooi celebrates its first edition in 2026. Start and finish are at Het Arsenaal, in the middle of the fortress town of Naarden. The half marathon takes you through the fortress, along the Naardermeer and towards Muiderberg and the Valkeveen forest area; most of it is paved, with a few stretches of forest path. Besides the 21.1 km there is a quarter marathon of 10.55 km and Kids Runs over 500 m and 1.5 km. The half starts at 10.30 a.m. and has a three-hour limit. The event is organised by Day One together with the Bussum athletics club Tempo AV. Naarden-Bussum station is about a twenty-minute walk away.
