Halve Marathon Ivo Van Damme

About the race

With this run, Herent brings back the Halve Marathon Ivo Van Damme, as a tribute to the well-known middle-distance runner from Herent. All races start and finish at Sporthal Ivo Van Damme and follow a circuit through the village. You choose between 7, 14 or 21 km; in the morning there are children's races of 1.6, 2.6 and 5.2 km. On the same day, Den Grooten Prys Bart Swings also takes place, a 20 km inline skating race. The event is organised by the municipality of Herent, with entertainment around the village.
