Haaltert Loopt starts and finishes at the Vondelhof on the Vondelen, in the middle of Haaltert. The afternoon opens at two with the children: the Snoepjesloop over 400 metres and the Kidsloop over 800. At quarter past three the adults go, choosing between 4, 8 or 12 kilometres on the same street course. Because the race forms part of a wider sports day, the crowd includes people who did not come for the running. Maspoe organises it together with the Haaltert municipality.
