The Haachtse Loop is a village race on the green edge of Haacht, with registration and parking at the KVC Haacht clubhouse and the start a little further on at the Poverstraat. The course consists of a five-kilometre loop that runs two thirds of the way on unpaved roads, past the Antitankgracht, the Zomerdijk, the river Dijle and the Heerlyckheid van Roost. Those wanting more run that loop twice or three times, making up 10 or 15 kilometres. Alongside them are children's races by age group and a five-kilometre walk. The race is carried entirely by volunteers and the proceeds go to a local good cause each year.
