Grensloop Menen is Stad Menen's Friday evening run around the Grote Markt, with a programme for children, individual runners and teams. The youth races start with kids runs over 500 m, 1 km and 1.5 km, followed by the 5 km over one lap and the 10 km over two laps. Teams of four can run the same distance together and take part in the team competition, alongside initiatives such as the sportiest primary school and the team photo. With electronic timing, refreshments, a finisher medal and the central start and finish area, Grensloop Menen has the feel of a lively city run where competitive runners and local participants meet.
