San Silvestercross

About the race

The San Silvestercross is one of the oldest road races in Belgium and traditionally falls on the Sunday between Christmas and New Year. Start and finish are at the village square of Sint-Eloois-Winkel (Ledegem). You choose between the Kleine Cross of 4.25 km (one lap through the village) and the Grote Cross of 8.5 km (two laps). First up are the youth heats, with laps of 300 to 750 m around the church square. There's chip timing with a staggered start by time zone, plus a company and club competition for teams of five.
